To support our continuing growth, OIG is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Trustee Services Trust team who will report to a Senior Manager or Director Trustee Services and work closely with wider team on daily activities for all trustee related matters.
The Trustee Services team works with both domestic and international investment managers.

The position
- Working collaboratively with the wider Trustee Services team you will:
- Assist with managing the lifecycle of a portfolio of trust clients (including responding to client requests);
- Work with the Trustee Services team members and risk and compliance to ensure compliance is managed appropriately in accordance with compliance plan controls;
- Work with the Trustee Services team members and risk and compliance to monitor service providers including; investment managers, custodians/administrators, registries and prime brokers;
- Manage regulatory and other product updates to scheme documents including PDS updates;
- Monitor the ongoing compliance with scheme documents including PDS and Constitutions and service provider agreements;
- Participate in the review of key fund documents (e.g., IMA, constitution and other agreements);
- Review and input on offer documents and application forms;
- Control the coordination between internal and external legal teams to review service provider agreements and other legal contracts;
- Ensure Fund transactions are executed effectively, efficiently and within the deadlines set;
- Assist with the on-boarding and integration of new business;
- Assist with payments on banking platforms; and
- Maintain relationships with key clients and service providers.
- Effectively managing clients and assisting in the servicing of those clients across the various services offered by the team.
- Preparation of client proposals in coordination with the Director, including costings and assumptions. Communicating with the client on the final proposal and associated documents.
- Plan the client workflows within the team and ensure deliverables are met and being completed by the correct colleagues.
- Ensure OIG meets all regulatory obligations.
- Ensure the timely completion of Tickit Tasks.
- Managing relationships with Key Stakeholders to ensure all aspects of Trustee services are managed in an efficient and compliant manner.
- Navigate workload and prioritise effectively to ensure timelines and deadlines are consistently met by yourself and your team.
- Delegate work within the team for maintenance of efficient workflow and monitor the delivery of tasks.
- Identify and implement solutions to issues and incidents/breaches as and when they are identified.
- Train and mentor Junior team members
- Consistent engagement with external stakeholders (clients) and the OIG board members.
- Mentor and develop a wider team and identify possible process efficiencies.
About you
The ideal candidate:
- Is degree qualified in a relevant area of study;
- Has at least 5 years of relevant financial services experience;
- RG 146 and/or industry qualifications desirable;
- Financial statements review experience;
- Risk and compliance experience;
- Experience with coaching and training colleagues;
- Is collaborative and keen to support a growing team;
- Wants to learn and contribute to the success of the team; and
- Is an effective communicator.

- A Bachelor’s degree or similar – all relevant disciplines welcome (Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics or Law)

- First-class attention to detail to ensure that critical review and finalisation of relevant agreements is completed to a high standard.
- Solid and proven negotiation skillset – be confident in negotiating fee proposals, structures, and services with clients.
